Recently the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade launch the Australia Awards Linkages Framework to capture the ambition for Australia Awards scholars, beyond their academic qualification, to build enduring personal and professional links with Australian organisations and Australian individuals.
The Australia Awards Linkages framework aim to foster enduring and mutually beneficial links with Australia by investing in scholars’ activities, starting from before the scholars leave their home country and expanding the support to establish and maintain networks while the scholars in Australia.
This framework provides a broad platform supporting scholars to build both their professional and soft skills, make new connections while in Australia, and access an extensive range of development opportunities beyond the acquisition of their tertiary qualification.
The framework includes The Australia Awards Linkages Guide for Scholars that supports scholars to get the most out of their Australia Awards experience, including connecting with community and professional organisations and exploring work experience opportunities. It is a useful guide for you to read while you are studying in Australia.
