Returning for Cambodia’s Development – Kun Sreyphoung

As I’m completing my Australia Awards Scholarship and returning to Cambodia, I’m feeling grateful, proud, excited, and nostalgic for the experiences I’ve had.

 

Key aspects of my time in Australia? The university life taught me discipline, time management, and accountability, while the Australia Awards Scholarship allowed me to connect with experts and fellow scholars from Cambodia and around the world. Traveling allowed me to explore the diverse attractions of Australia, such as mountain ranges, beaches, and wildlife.

 

I’ll miss public parks and gardens, the friendships I’ve made, and the culture of Australia, known for its inclusion and diversity.

 

I’m looking forward to reuniting with my supportive family, resuming my professional career, and contributing to the development of Cambodia. I’m also looking forward to eating Cambodian cuisine, specially made by my mum.
