22 research proposals were developed and presented yesterday to a panel of experts from Queensland University of Technology and the Future Forum before researchers move forward to address diverse topics from gender equality to social media effects on students, and climate change adaptation to digital maturity in SMEs. These proposals on issues important to Cambodia aim to contribute significantly to the country’s policy development and discourse.
Beginning in mid-May 2024, 23 Australian alumni from ministries and NGOs and 5 researchers from the Australian Government-funded Ponlok Chomnes program participated in a hands-on training aimed at refining their research skills for developing inclusive research projects and providing them with the tools to support evidence-based policies that are inclusive and reflective of all societal needs.
Stay tuned as these projects take shape and bring positive change to Cambodia!
Australia Awards Cambodia has now supported 77 Cambodians to gain valuable inclusive research skills through 3 rounds of Research Design through a Social Inclusion Lens delivered by QUT and the Future Forum.
