Returning for Cambodia’s Development – Phork Sokunthea

I’m very excited to go back to Cambodia, and I’ve got so many ideas I want to implement when I get back. I know I’ll miss Australia dearly. I’m proud to say that this 2-year journey has changed me inside and out, in the best way possible.

 

I got to work on so many school projects that were truly near and dear to my heart. My professors were extremely supportive of my creative endeavours, and that has instilled in me a strong sense of confidence that I’ll carry with me everywhere I go.

 

I’ll honestly miss every little thing about Australia. However, if I had to choose only one, that would probably be how green Australia is. I’ve spent so much of my time here hanging out in the parks and being surrounded by trees, birds and nature.

 

I can’t wait to get back to work and put all the knowledge into practice. I also very much look forward to eating my mum’s food and cooking my family all the new recipes I’ve picked up during my time in Australia.
