Chuob Bunda’s journey as an Australia Awards scholar exemplifies his commitment to strengthening resilient agricultural systems and empowering Cambodia’s rural farmers. Bunda is prepared to connect local needs and global knowledge to promote sustainable growth after earning his Master of Commerce from RMIT University.
Drawing from years of experience with farming communities, including co-founding an organic farm in Kampot Province, Bunda developed practical skills in finance, supply chains, and sustainability during his studies in Australia.
“My experience at CERES not only enhanced my understanding of permaculture but also reinforced my commitment to eco-friendly development, which I’m eager to apply to Cambodia’s farming sector.”
Now Bunda is working to strengthen farming enterprises, improve supply chains, and mobilise local farmers toward entrepreneurship.
