Returning for Cambodia’s Development – Chhum Rathany

Completing my Australia Awards Scholarship has been a transformative journey. I feel grateful for the opportunities and support I received during my time in Cambodia and Australia, empowering me to achieve my goals and embrace lifelong learning.

The academic freedom in Australia expanded my perspective, encouraging critical thinking and open discussions to create meaningful solutions.

What I’ll miss most are Australia’s green spaces and peaceful bird songs, but I’m thrilled to reunite with loved ones and enjoy Cambodia’s best breakfast—pork and rice.
