This journey has been one of the most meaningful chapters of my life. Studying in Australia opened my mind, pushed me to grow, and revealed strength I didn’t know I had.

I’ve learned not just from classes, but from friendships and the welcoming communities around me. Every joy and challenge has shaped who I am today.
Returning to Cambodia means reuniting with loved ones and working on what I’m passionate about. I’m excited to bring back what I’ve learned and give back with purpose and love. One unforgettable part of this journey was joining the MTech student club. In my second semester, I stepped out of my comfort zone—and it changed everything. MTech gave me friendships, confidence, and a sense of belonging. It wasn’t just a club—it became a little family.

What I’ll miss most are the people who made this place feel like home. Group assignments turned into lasting friendships, where we shared cultures and supported one another.

I’ll also miss Australia’s peaceful beauty, especially the trips and picnics with my Cambodian friends—simple moments that made me feel at home, even far away.

The first thing I can’t wait to do back in Cambodia is hug my parents and share a meal. I’ve missed the warmth of home, the comfort of familiar food, and the quiet joy of being with the people I love.
