Returning for Cambodia’s Development – Siek Boromey

I’m grateful for the opportunity to study in Australia—a life-changing experience that has significantly nurtured both my professional and personal growth.

 

Throughout my studies, I gained hands-on experience through classes, seminars, and a work placement at a wealth management company in Sydney. I also cherished the chance to enjoy the diverse landscapes and the change of each season down under. Being over 4,000 miles from home, I learned more about myself in terms of building resiliency and exploring new hobbies.

 

Although my heart is happy to be home, I will miss my friends, the Australian coffee culture, the beaches, and all the unforgettable moments I’ve had in Sydney. That said, I’m excited to reunite with my family and friends and hope to apply the knowledge I’ve gained to contribute to Cambodia’s development.
