Returning for Cambodia’s Development – El Nyta

My academic and personal experience in Australia has been enriching. I was fortunate to get to know people from diverse backgrounds and study in a vibrant classroom environment.
Beyond the classroom, I had the opportunity to join prestigious conferences across states through the Australia Awards’ on-award enrichment program, where I learned from policymakers and academia, and networked with fellow participants from different backgrounds.

As my time here comes to an end, I’ll truly miss Australia for its multiculturalism, endless beauty, and efficient public transportation that allowed me to visit so many picturesque places with just a train or bus ride. I’ll also miss my dear friends from different countries, with whom I’ve formed strong bonds throughout my time here.

I look forward to returning to Cambodia and hugging my nieces, nephews, and family. I’m also eager to return to my workplace at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, bringing with me the skills I’ve acquired.

These experiences will be forever ingrained in me, and I strongly encourage those who wish to embark on the same journey to apply for the Australia Awards Scholarships.
