This entire journey has been an intense crash course in adulthood, teaching me to pursue purpose in everything I do. Without a doubt, I’ve become a better, more resilient, and more purposeful version of myself.
It’s been a series of powerful moments: realising just how vast the world is, how people can be so different yet so similar, and redefining the values that truly guide me through life. Despite the ups and downs, every experience and every person I met reinforced how good it is to be alive and healthy. This journey has deepened my gratitude, allowed me to empathise better, and left me feeling positive, motivated, and ready to do more in my next chapter.
My time in Australia was, without a doubt, a period of character development. It felt like a defining chapter in my life’s fairytale. This experience opened my eyes to countless new possibilities and truly helped me strive to become a better person every single day. The small talks, the shared achievements (both minor and major), and witnessing the incredibly diverse and meaningful lives of others – these are the unforgettable moments that will stay with me for a very long time.
What truly made Australia special for me was the kindness of the people and the pervasive lifestyle of committing to personal growth, both emotionally and physically. There was an unspoken encouragement from friends and those around me to help me through the tough times and celebrate with me during the good ones. That sense of shared journey and unwavering support is something I’ll deeply miss.
I can’t wait to reunite with my family and loved ones. While getting my master’s degree in Brisbane was tough, I think the real challenge will be finding my place again within society. Still, the thought of sharing the joy of upcoming gatherings with them, after all this time, is what I’m most looking forward to. Even though Brisbane holds a special place in my heart, being home with my people is truly what matters most.
