I’m very proud of how far I’ve come, deeply grateful for the support I’ve received, and hopeful for what lies ahead.
Living and studying with a vision impairment hasn’t always been easy, but this journey has helped me grow — not only as a student, but also as an advocate, a teacher, and a human being. My challenges have become my sources of strength.
A defining moment during my studies was participating in the Mindful Inquiry Intensive — a space where I felt truly safe to speak openly about my experiences with disability and reconnect with my purpose. It reminded me that healing and learning can happen side by side.
With a Master’s in Inclusive and Specialised Education, I’m returning home with greater confidence, new perspectives, and a renewed commitment to inclusive education and social justice.
This isn’t just a career path — it’s a personal mission rooted in my own lived experience and my vision for a more inclusive future.

I’m very much looking forward to reuniting with family and friends, enjoying my mother’s cooking, and finding a role that allows me to advocate for students with vision impairment and create more accessible learning environments in Cambodia.
