Research for Change: Strengthening Farmers’ Water Resilience

Our alumna, Ms Yann Sophorn, researched how Mekong and Tonle Sap farmers cope with shrinking water supplies.

The study shows farmers need better irrigation, skills training, and local funding to adapt to climate change. Policymakers need to act to protect livelihoods and food security.

Ms Sophorn obtained a Master of Public Policy from the Australian National University in 2013 under an Australia Awards Scholarship.
