Returning to Cambodia, I’m turning a year of global learning into local impact. My Australia Awards Scholarships year transformed my resilience, strategic thinking, and ability to pivot.
I completed a Master of Entrepreneurship at the University of Melbourne, a world-leading university, which has allowed me to apply business-model innovation, market validation and design thinking at events like SXSW Sydney. Pitching my capstone, “All About Cambodia” a digital platform to showcase Cambodia to international tourists, to Australian industry experts taught me lean methodology, design thinking, and the value of rapid iteration and validation. Success comes from learning-by-doing.
I then interned at Orygen Global, applying an intrapreneurial approach to NGO communications: I led website revamps, turned strategy into high impact materials, and gained insight into international funding and cross-border project management.
I bring a problem first mindset, falling in love with the problem, not the solution, and believe Cambodian SMEs can gain an edge by finding the real market gap before building products.
I’m ready to merge my media, marketing, and communications background with my entrepreneurial skills in roles like Startup Program Coordinator, Strategic Communications Officer, or Lecturer. Let’s connect: linkedin.com/in/hangbouoeng/
