As I graduate and return to Cambodia, I feel very grateful for this Australia Awards Scholarships journey. It’s given me so much more than a degree; it gave me confidence, new skills, and unforgettable experiences.

Some of my favourite memories were driving along the Great Ocean Road, seeing wallabies, koalas, and kangaroos in the wild, watching dolphins at Noosa National Park, and seeing penguins return to shore at sunset on Phillip Island.

Australia gave me confidence to speak up, try new opportunities, and believe that someone from Cambodia can make a real contribution on the global stage. One of my proudest moments was working as a Student Success Partner at QUT. That gave me the chance to work with students from different backgrounds and support university events. It helped me grow, step out of my comfort zone, and feel that I could truly contribute to a new environment.

I’m excited to bring home what I learned in digital communication, including data analysis, audience research, chatbot design, and responsible use of AI. I hope to use these skills to support Cambodia’s digital development, especially by helping young people, girls, and rural communities build digital skills and access better information.
